Pipings, braids

These ribbons are also named braid, canvas or rand and decorate textiles, of e.g. beds or pillows and clothing.

As a specialist for textile ribbons, Glücksband offers you a wide range of pipings and braids from our own production. We would also gladly assist you with creating your own ideas.

Weaving piping and glance piping _
A woven piping band from cotton or polyester

Plaited piping _
A plaited piping band of lucent viscose silk,
very high-value optics. Polyester taffeta, cotton.

Satin piping _
of "polyester bias binding" (polyester satin)
sewn piping band, closed optics.

The piping is produced by our experienced specialists in our own weaving mill.

We vouch for the highest quality of our products.

Piping is delivered by the roll.

We offer weaving pipings and lustre pipings in 9 mm breadth, if desired also in special breadths. Cotton, polyester, resp. cotton with lucent viscose bead are utilised as material.

Plait pipings of viscose silk for high-value textiles, we offer in 9 mm breadth, colourations according to our colour sample card.

Satin piping of polyester-satin for high-value textiles, we offer in 11 mm breadth, colourations according to our colour sample card. Special colours on orders over 70.000 r.m.

The colouring operations are available for cotton:
washable up to 30°C.
Indanthren: washable up to 95°C.

Polyester bands are always coloured using the same method.
