Care labels / content labels
for textile labelling

Textile products may only be offered "if they possess the appropriate type and weight proportion for the used textile raw material content designation" (summary german textile labelling act - "TKG").

For this purpose care and content labels are used. In view of washing requirements and durability the care labels are often textile labels themselves. Their quality and appearance may vary according to your requests.

Care labelling and symbols are not neccessary by law, but must be matched with the application to the worldwide valid norm ISO 3758 "care labelling and symbol code".

To simplify matters, the compulsory textile recommendation is often combined with care labels and the company logo. We would be glad to assist you with compiling the information.

Care labels are displayed as woven or printed labels. Woven labels are classified as labels with more optical impact.

Please find the technical data of the fabrication under the particular menu.

Alternative qualities require other production techniques, for which we would gladly offer detailed information upon request.

In our experience, the basic choices for labels to mark or tag textiles are:

coated nylon (best quality) _

cotton/polyester-fabric (optically like cotton; economically priced) _

polyester-satin (bright white material, optionally shiney or mat; inexpensive) _

acetate-satin (softest material, a little more time consuming) _

For special requests, we are also able to offer special material qualities.
