Glücksband - Tradition
Ribbons which make history
The founder of the Roth-factory in Göppingen was Ludwig Friedrich Roth with his three sons in the year 1824. Already in the time of Rokoko up to the period of Biedermeier, the bands manufactured by him decorated dresses and hats of ladies and gentlemen. The production of corsets, which were even exported to America, came along. The subsequent years were affected by expansion, experiments and export - but the company has remained true to the band weaving mill until today.
Labels - the beginning
In the year 1955, the Glücksband Roth GmbH & Co. KG gained the licence "heliotextile-Germany". This is a licence for the imprinting of boil-proofed textile-labels, which was nationally awarded only once - to us! In the interplay of products, customer, trend and target group, since then we have developed and manufactured for nearly every sector. The possible fields of application are nearly unlimited and we are glad to receive your individual inquiries.
The management
For 163 years, the company had been a family business of the founder family Roth. In 1987, it was sold to the families of Lutz and Wolf Weinmann, who assumed the management up to 2001 and are still available for consulting. The active management was taken on by the sons Frank Weinmann (diplome-merchandiser, entrance 1996) and Oliver Weinmann (diplome-engineer, entrance 1997).
